Flexible Department System

City of Kellogg, a historic mining town in Idaho's Silver Valley, sought a strategic rebrand to position themselves as a modern outdoor recreation destination while honoring their industrial heritage. Through comprehensive stakeholder engagement and human-centered design research, I developed a flexible brand identity system that emphasizes natural beauty, mining history, and the city's role as the central hub of the Silver Valley—creating a foundation that attracts visitors, supports economic development, and unifies all city departments under one cohesive, professional brand.

“This is so above and beyond what I imagined when we started this...

This really speaks to me because of the level of sophistication—this presents us as a very sophisticated town. This is something you would truly see in other mountain towns like Telluride.”
